I’ve been a Red Seal Mechanical Insulator, with Heat and Frost Local 118, for around 8 years. I was a foreman running job sites (such as Uptown Towers, West Vancouver Police Station, and Gage UBC) for a few years, before recently leaving the tools to work in the Union Hall to take over their Sustainability Program, and Communications.
In addition to serving on the Governance Committee for BCCWITT, I’m also the Secretary-Treasurer for Build TogetHER, a delegate of the VDLC, and I’m on the Union Organizers Committee -- among a few other things.
This is such a necessary piece that’s been missing from the trades, and I’m super excited to be a part of it as it grows and takes shape.
